Technical Data Sheet: Antmee® Silicone Emulsions Series
Product Name: Antmee® Silicone Emulsion
Chemical Description: Aqueous Emulsion of Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) Fluid
CAS Number: 63148-62-9 (Base Silicone Fluid)
Product Type: Non-ionic / Anionic Macro-emulsion (O/W)
1. Product Overview
Antmee® Silicone Emulsions are high-performance, water-dilutable dispersions of premium polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) silicone fluid in water. These emulsions are specifically engineered to deliver the inherent benefits of silicone—such as lubricity, release, gloss, and water repellency—in an easy-to-use, environmentally preferred aqueous format. By eliminating the need for hazardous organic solvents, Antmee® Silicone Emulsions offer a safer handling profile for personnel and reduce VOC emissions in application environments .
The series is available in a range of high solids concentrations (40%, 60%, 65%, and 70%), allowing formulators to choose the optimal balance between silicone content, viscosity, and dilution flexibility. These macro-emulsions appear as opaque, milky white liquids characterized by excellent mechanical and dilution stability, even when reduced with significant amounts of water .
2. Typical Physical & Chemical Properties
The following specifications represent the general physical properties across the Antmee® Silicone Emulsions series. Actual values may vary slightly depending on the specific base silicone viscosity and emulsifier package used for each grade.
Appearance: Opaque, milky white liquid (Visual)
Solid Content Range: 40% / 60% / 65% / 70% (Silicone Active)
Emulsifier Type: Non-ionic or Anionic/Non-ionic blend (depending on application compatibility requirements)
pH Value: 6.5 – 8.5 (Neutral)
Specific Gravity (at 25°C): Approx. 0.98 – 1.02 g/mL
Particle Size: Typically < 1.0 µm (Macro-emulsion)
Base Fluid Viscosity: Customizable from 350 cSt up to 100,000+ cSt PDMS
Diluent: Readily dilutable with cold or warm water (recommended water hardness below 250 ppm as CaCO₃)
Disclaimer: Typical values are representative of average production lots and should not be interpreted as guaranteed batch-specific specifications. Minor variations are expected due to normal manufacturing tolerances.

Please refer to the specific Antmee® product code for detailed Certificate of Analysis (CoA) and base fluid viscosity information.
Antmee® EM-40 (Solid Content: 40%)
A versatile, general-purpose silicone emulsion with moderate silicone content. Antmee® EM-40 provides an excellent balance of performance and economy. It is ideally suited for applications requiring good surface wetting and lubrication without excessive buildup. Common uses include tire and dashboard dressing bases, textile lubricants for thread and yarn, and polish additives for furniture and automotive care.
Antmee® EM-60 (Solid Content: 60%)
A premium high-solids emulsion offering concentrated silicone performance. Antmee® EM-60 is designed for high-efficiency release applications where a durable, tenacious silicone film is required. It serves as an excellent mold release agent for rubber, plastics, and foundry processes. It is also widely used as a high-gloss additive in car polishes and leather maintenance products, providing enhanced color intensity and water beading .
Antmee® EM-65 (Solid Content: 65%)
A cost-effective, ultra-high concentration emulsion engineered for maximum silicone delivery per unit volume. Antmee® EM-65 is particularly advantageous for end-users seeking to minimize storage space, reduce packaging waste, and lower transportation costs. Despite its high silicone loading, it maintains good handling viscosity and can be readily diluted on-site to meet specific process requirements. Recommended for industrial release agents and textile finishing where high actives are preferred.
Antmee® EM-70 (Solid Content: 70%)
The highest concentration in the Antmee® emulsion portfolio. Antmee® EM-70 is formulated for maximum efficiency in demanding industrial applications. It provides a robust, heat-stable lubricating film that resists wash-off and mechanical shear. This grade is exceptionally effective as a slip and anti-blocking additive in waterborne paints, inks, and coatings, improving abrasion resistance and surface smoothness .
4. Primary Applications
Mold Release Agents: Provides clean, multiple-release performance for rubber and plastic molding, die-casting, and composite fabrication without building up on mold surfaces or interfering with post-molding painting operations .
Industrial and Consumer Polishes: Imparts a high-gloss, durable, and water-repellent finish to automotive surfaces, tires, furniture, and leather goods. Enhances spreadability and ease of wipe-off .
Textile and Fiber Lubrication: Serves as an excellent lubricant and antistatic agent for sewing thread, yarn, and hosiery manufacturing. Reduces friction, prevents needle cutting, and imparts a soft, natural hand feel to finished fabrics .
Paints, Inks, and Coatings: Functions as a slip and mar/scratch resistance additive in waterborne formulations. Improves surface smoothness, reduces coefficient of friction, and enhances block resistance .
5. Packaging and Storage Information
Packaging Options: Available in 20 kg pails, 50 kg HDPE drums, 200 kg steel drums, and 1000 kg IBC totes.
Shelf Life: 6 to 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in the original, unopened container under recommended conditions. Actual shelf life may vary based on specific formulation and storage environment .
Storage Conditions: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and sources of extreme heat or freezing. Recommended storage temperature range is between 5°C and 30°C . Containers should be kept tightly sealed to prevent water evaporation and contamination. Protect from freezing, as repeated freeze-thaw cycles may destabilize the emulsion and cause phase separation. If separation occurs, gently stir or agitate the emulsion to restore homogeneity before use .
